Lavender Oil (Lavendula augustifolia)
Lavender is credited with the ability to balance unbalanced states; physical, emotional and mental. Lavender is ideal for treating minor burns and many types of injuries because of its pain-relieving, healing and scar reducing properties. It can be used for abdominal cramps, nausea stress related conditions and is an effective sedative. The most versatile of essential oils; Lavender is a relaxing and calming oil, but stimulating in higher quantities. It is also good for insect bites and stings as well as being a good insect repellent, especially lice.

Lemon Oil (Citrus limonum)
Lemon stimulates the body to fight infections and wounds. It has the ability to stop minor bleeding and kills bacteria (particularly recommended for nosebleeds and after tooth extraction). Lemon also balances acidity in the body. A stimulating and refreshing oil. Lemon oil is slightly bleaching and is useful for corns, warts and verrucaes.
Non-toxic but may cause irritation in very sensitive individuals. Do not use on skin if you will be exposed to sunlight.

Lemongrass Oil (Cymbopogon citrates)
Lemongrass is a deodorising and toning oil. It has the ability to reduce the effects of headaches and indigestion. It also aids circulation. A tonic and stimulating oil, Lemongrass is a good insect repellent and can protect animals from ticks and fleas.
Non-toxic but may cause irritation in sensitive individuals. Do not use on skin if you will be exposed to sunlight.
