Kneel or sit comfortably on the floor, or on a chair,
hands palms up on your knees or thighs, eyes closed. Now turn your
attention to your breath. Just watch it coming in and out, as you
might watch waves breaking on a beach. Then begin to focus on your
lower belly. As you inhale, imagine your breath coming down and filling
your belly, and as you exhale, imagine it coming up your torso, down
your arms and out of your hands. Continue for a few moments, then
slowly raise your hands in front of you and imagine you are holding
a ball of light or energy between them. Explore how large the ball
is by moving your hands apart and together again. |
